The Captives

View on the Pragda STREAM site

Director Natalia Maysundo Gil embarks on a journey in search of her identity. Her great-grandparents lived in Arica when new borders were imposed between Peru and Chile, dividing their descendants between the two nations. As she returns to this contested land and questions official narratives, Natalia discovers, in the intimate memories of its people, a story that also belongs to her.
