Attempting to escape North Korea, Mrs. B. is sold by smugglers to a Chinese farmer. She becomes a smuggler herself and struggles to reunite with her sons, but the secret service gets involved...

Mrs. B. works in a weapons factory in North Korea. Ten years ago, she left her village for China, intending to work there for a few months before returning home to her husband and their two sons. But she was sold by traffickers to Jin, a poor Chinese peasant.
